In 1991, the VAS shoe shop chain was born and over the course of 20 years, it has undergone countless transformations and adaptations to the markets and to the different social situations that have shaped what VAS is today.

The first physical shop was established in Madrid in 1975 and nowadays there are almost 30 points of sale all over the Iberian Peninsula. This evolution of the company has been achieved thanks to the efforts of the entire team behind it, both in shops, warehouses and offices, with an attitude and a spirit of self-improvement and enthusiasm that never wanes and that has led to overcoming difficult times and to being a family business, but with a highly qualified profile that is recognised by customers.

VAS Shoes brings together a wide collection of leading brands in the footwear sector, offering its customers the latest trends in models, colours, brands, etc.

PROBLEM

Despite having an online shop with an extensive catalogue, representation of top brands, an established market niche and exponential sales growth, the ecommerce project was not profitable enough to find viability.

SOLUTION

Carrying out a comprehensive audit of the online project focused on finding measures to improve economic performance in order to implement a short-term corrective contingency plan.
